The Bank of Russia announced that it will not buy foreign exchange in the domestic market from August 10 to the end of 2023 to reduce the fluctuations in the financial market.
According to the Russian Bank of Russia, the decision to restore the domestic market's foreign exchange purchase business will be made according to the actual situation of the financial market.
At the same time, the Russian central bank will continue to sell foreign exchange related to the national welfare fund funds at a limit of 2.3 billion rubles per day in order to invest it into the allowed financial assets.
